No.7‘ is another new song from Mrs. GREEN APPLE, track no. 7 in album ‘TWELVE’. Another ‘irony of life’ story, tho I really don’t know what it means (lol). So, maybe it is or maybe it is not :p. Don’t count on me yet. Near the end, there’s an confusing end, because suddenly the music took a different direction, like a completely new song, but then suddenly the song is finished. Hahaha… I REALLY REALLY LIKE THIS SONG! I feel sorry for myself for posting it only now. My mood has been plummeted last month.

Disclaimer: Not mine.

(*) The Japanese lyric just wrote ‘yo’, and not ‘youni’, but Oomori Motoki really sings ‘youni’, so I stick with the singer.
(**) Despite how the romaji is, the singer sings it uniquely and so it is heard as if the end sound is ‘e’. It’s like how ‘toka’ here is sounds like ‘toke~’, and ‘hora’ sounds like ‘honne’ (I think).

Notes:

[…] kanji ~ [–->] my attempt ~ [=] the correct romanization ~ (…) my own comment

  1. [気配りは実は高得点] -> kikiwari wa jitsu wa kototsute = kikubari wa jitsu wa koutokuten (!?)
  2. [戯けて] -> Odokete (I almost think I’m wrong since I cannot convert it to kanji! But it is indeed the right romanisation. According to Jisho, it means ‘to jest/joke’, and it is an outdated kanji. No wonder hehe)
  3. [恥ずかし] -> muzukashi (actually I have no idea since it is so fast) = hazukashi
  4. [頃] -> kura -> koro (but the way he sings it doesn’t sound like it at all. And that’s why I felt I’ve been deceived *shot)
  5. [幸福] -> kasuku = koufuku
  6. [周り] -> nowari = mawari (arr)
