Hello again, Ohisashiburi~ I am using today’s opportunity to post lyric 🙂 Sorry I lied (or the better word would be that I cannot fulfill my promise, but anyway, now I post it right, sooo haha).

Actually I have this lyric ready for post, but my laptop is kinda a shit that I get frustrated to post it… Well…Since it is holiday, my mood is better, so…

心根 (Kokorone) is the first track of his very first album. Actually, the last track is also called ‘Kokorone’ with different kanji, the one that is used as the album’s name.

Disclaimer: I am not KK (or Kamikita Ken). I’m posting the lyric of his song because I like it 🙂

Japanese lyric

Romaji

行く先を与えられた少年は、笑っていたのか。誰にも嫌われないように。
飲み込んだ本当の想いを、今強く抱きしめよう。
Yuku saki wo ataerareta shounen wa, waratteita no ka…?
Dare ni mo kirawarenai youni.
Nomikonda hontou no omoi wo, ima tsuyoku dakishimeyou.
認められたいと願った日々が酷く浅ましくて、けど偽れない愛おしい過去だ。
それだけがだから、これからも背負って行くよ。
Mitomeraretai to negatta hibi ga hidoku asamashikute, kedo itsuwarenai itooshii kako da.
Sore dake ka ikita akashi dakara, kore kara mo seotte iku yo.
正解もわからないまま歩みを進める恐怖と、
満たされない空白に抗う歌を。
Seikai mo wakaranai mama ayumi wo susumeru kyoufu to,
Mitasarenai kuuhaku ni aragau uta wo.
彼を救うための歌を。繋げるために。 Kare wo sukuu tame no uta wo. Tsunageru tame ni.
きっとこの先もまた君にとっては、
辛くてやり切れない日々が続くだろう。
Kitto kono saki mo mata kimi ni totte wa,
Tsurakute yari kirenai hibi ga tsudzuku darou.
世界が自分を裏切るために回っているんだと、
いっそ終わらせたくなる日も来るだろう。
Sekai ga jibun wo uragiru tame ni mawatteiru nda to,
isso oware setakunaru hi mo kuru darou.
それでも、君が正しいと信じて選んだ道だ。
とても誇らしく、輝いているじゃないか。
Sore demo, kimi ga tadashii to shinjite eranda michi da.
Totemo hokorashiku, kagayaiteiru janai ka?
君のここまで歩んで来た意味を、僕は探し続けると決めたよ。 Kimi no koko made ayundekita imi wo, boku wa sagashi tsudzukeru to kimeta yo!
景色が変わっていっても、はじまりは心の中に。 Keshiki ga kawatte itte mo, hajimari wa kokoro no naka ni…

Notes: Even though the song is less than 3 minutes, the lyric is packed and I am still getting mistakes at romanizing by hearing. But y’know, I found a new way to read the kanji used in the lyric! I don’t have to turn to Jisho every time I have trouble just to read now. I can just use ‘Phonetic Guide’ feature in Microsoft Word. Wow, it’s so convenient. Glad I learn about it tee hee 🙂 Learning never be too late :p

So here’s a list of kanji that I cannot get by hearing myself:
[…] kanji ~ [–>] my attempt ~ [=] the correct romanization

  1. [浅ましくて] –> wasamashikute = asamashikute
  2. [生きた証] –> ikitakashi = ikita Akashi
  3. [抗う] –> harakau = aragau
  4. [正しい] –> karashii = tadashii
