YEAH, it’s been in my desktop, but I don’t have the time to polish it until today. SO, here it is… the lyric of Itowokashi’s ‘Re;MilkyWay’!

Hear the sample of the song in the album’s crossfade, here (NND).

Isn’t it beautiful? I can picture myself seeing the night sky full of stars and be amazed by it. And the rhythm really win! So high spirit! And I found that @rainofashe has translated the song in english. I must say the meaning is really touching. See the link to the english translation in credits.

This person lost their beloved one. Happiness is gone from this world. Whenever they sees the night sky, they feels blue. Because, it’s so lonely… that they are still alive without that special one by their side. What is their beloved doing right now? Are they happy over there, in a place where men cannot reach? The night sky is limitless; it holds onto the those unknown futures… BUT they will keep going, living, searching for happiness in the world where their beloved is gone until the day they met again.

Disclaimer: I don’t own this beautiful song, and I am certainly not the singer. I am a fan who wants more and more people to be able to sing this song 🙂

青白い銀河をつきぬけて どこまでもすすもう
線路は続いてゆく 遥か未来へ
Ao-shiroi ginga wo tsukinukete doko made mo susumou

白鳥の停車場に 高い汽笛が鳴り響き
列車は動き出す 様々な想いをのせて
Hakuchou no teishaba ni takai kiteki ga narihibiki
Ressha wa ugokidasu samazamana omoi wo nosete
幾千の星屑が 窓の外を通り抜ける
誰かの願い事を 叶えて消えてゆくのかな
Ikusen no hoshikuzu ga mado no soto wo norinukeru

Shiawase no arika…

* the character ‘i [い]’ is read as ‘yu [ゆ] by the singer. I’ll use what Itou Kashitarou uses :p

Notes: This is my list of mistakes in my attempt of romanizing the lyric. The character in the bracket ([…]) is the one that I cannot transliterated by myself (reading or hearing). This sign (–>) shows that the next word is my attempt at romanizing the character, which is WRONG, totally. And this sign ( = ) shows the CORRECT romanization, the one that I put in the table also.

  1. [停車場] –> teosaba = teishaba
  2. [列車] –> resha = ressha (OH DANG! THAT DOUBLE ‘S’ TRAP AGAIN)
  3. [幾千の星屑] –> hikuse no oshigusu = Ikusen no hoshikuzu
  4. [終着駅など] –> shuusaku dekina do = Shuuchakueki nado (terminal station)
