SUCH A SAD MELODY! Do you hear the guitar? Ah, also… In my opinion, you can use this song as a lullaby to help you sleep when you cannot. Or if you want to work until morning, it can also accompany you.

I actually found the song on YouTube. But it seemed that the uploader has deleted their account and thus made the video of the songs unavailable, even for search. But do not worry! I found the song on Youfel.com! Listen to the song over here: [link]. Since you’ll be redirected there, it is best if you ‘right-clicked’ the link to open it in a new tab 😉 So, you can play the song while reading the lyric here 🙂

And, while at it, check DEEN’s other works too! Why don’t you start with the playlist of LOVERS CONCERTO, an album in which this song is a part of… Try the playlist here: [link]

Disclaimer: I own nothing but this post. Meaning, I do not own DEEN, the song, as well as the lyric. If you know or can do the English or Indonesian translation for this song, let me know 🙂

帰ろうかそろそろあの町
僕らが育った
後悔がないとは言えないけど
負けたわけじゃない
kaerou ka soro soro ano machi
bokura ga sodatta
koukai ga nai to wa ienai kedo
maketa wake janai
人は皆 過去の荷物背負い
明日こそと 生きている
いつだって支えてくれたのは君で
hito wa mina kako no nimotsu seoi
asu koso to ikiteiru
itsu datte sasaetekureta no wa kimi de
幸せになろう ゆっくり歩こう
長い長い旅路を 君と共に
咲き誇る花 僕らの愛を
見守ってください 勇気をください
もう二度と離しはしない
shiawase ni narou, yukkuri arukou
nagai nagai tabiji wo kimi totomoni
sakihokoru hana bokura no ai wo
mimamotte kudasai, yuuki wo kudasai
mou nido to hanashi wa shinai
急いでた 何かに追われて
まちの流れだと言い訳してた
そんな時でも微笑んでくれた
isoideta nani ka ni owarete
machi no nagare da to iiwakeshiteta
sonna toki demo hohoende kureta
本当に大事なものすぐそばにある
いつか忘れて 遠回りしていた
君に誓うから
hontou ni daiji na mono sugu soba ni aru
itsuka wasurete toomawari shiteita
kimi ni chikau kara
幸せになろう ゆっくり歩こう
長い長い旅路を 君と共に
咲き誇る花 僕らの愛を
見守ってください 勇気をください
もう二度と離しはしない
shiawase ni narou, yukkuri arukou
nagai nagai tabiji wo kimi totomoni
saki hokoru hana bokura no ai wo
mimamotte kudasai, yuuki wo kudasai
mou nido to hanashi wa shinai

Notes:

Most of my mistake is because I added more consonant or vocals to the word (I assume there is ‘little tsu’ in those kind of words), and thus I got it wrong. But after several hearing and attemps, they are no longer a problem. The only problem I really have until I’ve become frustrated are:

  1. In this line: [長い長い旅路を 君と共に] I always hear ‘tabishi’ or ‘tabihi’. I can get the kanji for ‘tabi (旅)’, but not the next one [路]. What is it, what is it… finally, I know it is ‘ji’.
  2. In this line: [遠回りしていた] I always assume it was ‘tou’, but it turns out to be ‘too’. I also tried that word but I cannot get the kanji. Apparently, you can only obtain this kanji of ‘too’ if you type it along with the next words ‘toomawari’. Also the common word which uses ‘too’ is ‘tooi’, meaning ‘far or distant’.

PS: I always think the translation of the title is ‘Please Be Happy’ since it is such a sad melody.
